Ingredients to make Jackfruit Sweet idli
1)2 cups rice.
2)½ cup avalakki/poha.
3)1 cup jackfruit.
4)1 cup Jaggery.
5)2 cardamom.
6)Salt to taste
Directions to make Jackfruit idli:
1)Soak rice and avalakki for 2-3 hours.
2)Grind rice & avalakki and keep it overnight to ferment.
3)To the above batter, add jackfruit paste, Jaggery, cardamom and pinch of salt. Mix well
4)Use idli stand, grease the idli plate with ghee and pour a ladle full of batter and steam cook them in pressure cooker for 10-15 minutes.
