Rava Carrot Rotti

Ingredients to make Rava carrot rotti

  • 1-2 grated carrots,1 cup of grated coconut.
  • 2-3 green chillies (or according your spice preference).
  • 1 ½ cups of rava,1 tablespoon cumin seeds.
  • Salt according to taste, A dash of asafoetida.
  • coriander leaves finely chopped,1 tablespoon ghee.
  • Approximately 1 cup of cold water.

Directions to make Rava carrot rotti:

  • Mix all the above mentioned ingredients with water in a bowl.
  • The final consistency of the dough should be soft and pasty to the touch.
  • Take a fistful of the prepared dough, pat it on a well-greased non stick pan or frying pan/skillet until you have a round Rotti.
  • Add a few drops of oil to the rotti, and cook covered, on medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  • Cook rotti on both the sides.

— Serve with coconut chutney —
